Programme Description

Graphic Design programme  focuses on the procedures commonly used in the graphic communication and design industries. This program emphasizes creative application of design principles and problem solving in graphic design and communication, using both traditional and industry standard digital tools.   Students will gain experience in creative problem solving and the practical implementation of those solutions across multiple areas of graphic communications.  Students learn and apply fundamentals of various software applications (such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign), web design, image editing and drawing. They will also learn the art of creating logos, brochure and publication design, packaging, page layout and typography. 

Programme Goals:

 1.       Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the elements of graphic design.

 2.       Read, understand and communicate in the language of graphic design.

 3.       Use technology such as Phototshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.

 4.       Students will learn to demonstrate positive work behavior.

 5.       Students will learn to solve problems using critical thinking.
